The Drexel IEEE Graduate (DIG) Forum was established in 2006. The idea of having an IEEE graduate student forum and channeling the graduate students' interest in the IEEE activities was conceived to improve awareness of the IEEE Student membership benefits and to provide a dedicated source for knowledge and career building tools to the Drexel's graduate students. The objectives of the Forum are:
• To expose Drexel graduate engineering students to the latest in technology, research and knowledge base
• To build relationships between industry and Drexel engineering graduate students and provide a platform to interact and network with leaders
• To instrument creativity, innovation and values with the professional experience of IEEE and their services
•To promote competitive team spirit and a sense of accomplishment within the engineering student community
• To act as a forum for stimulating thought and discussion on science and engineering
