The Drexel EPICS program seeks to build upon the successful developed at Purdue University. Our goals are to vertically integrate undergraduate and graduate design projects with non-profit needs in the Philadelphia area. AY2007-2008 is our kick-off year, and we are actively looking for exciting new partnerships and ideas.
The National EPICS Program is a consortium of universities across the country committed to and successfully practicing the EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service) model founded at Purdue University in 1995. Purdue University is the Headquarters of the National EPICS Program.
Undergraduate students face a future in which they will need more than solid expertise in their discipline to succeed. They will be expected to work with people of many different backgrounds to identify and achieve goals. They need educational experiences that can help them broaden their skills.
