| Bio | Oleh Tretiak was born in Ukraine in 1939. After completing ScD research on digital imaging in 1963 he held Faculty and Postdoctoral positions at MIT, working on image processing and recognition with medical and biological applications. In the 1970's his research dealt with the theory and algorithmics of Computed Tomography, continuing this work after joining the Faculty at Drexel University. In the 1980's and 1990's his research was on image processing for neuroscinence. |
