ResearchDelay mitigating codes and rate delay tradeoffs in multipath routed and network coded networks; joint source separation and identification; performance and convergence of distributed estimation in wireless sensor networks via expectation propagation.
BioDr. Walsh received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from Cornell University under the supervision of Dr. C. Richard Johnson, Jr. in 2002, 2004, and 2006, respectively. After completing a short postdoc at the University of British Columbia with Vikram Krishnamurthy in the summer of 2006, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Drexel University, where he is currently an an assistant professor. He is a member of the IEEE, HKN, and TBP.
