Parking:
    We have made arrangements for FREE parking on the day of the conference for all conference attendees.  Simply proceed to the Drexel Garage located on 34th and Ludlow streets (See map).  Go to the entrance and tell the attendant that you are with the MABEC conference hosted by the Department of Chemical Engineering.  You will receive a token to exit the garage.

For people driving vans:  The garage has a height limit of 6' 9.5".  If your vehicle is taller than this, you will need to park (for FREE) in lot C.  The garage attendant will be able to direct you.   

Maps / Driving Directions:
From the North: 
        Take 95 south to 676 west.  Take 676 west to 30th street/Amtrak train station exit.  This exit road will loop you around the 30th street/Amtrak station.  When you hit Market Street, turn right.  Follow Market Street  to 34th street and turn left.  The parking garage will be on your left.

From the South:
        Take 95 north.  Follow signs that say valley forge (exit 13).  Go over the Platt bridge and turn left at the first light.  Follow the road into Philadelphia, exit at the 30th street/Amtrak train station exit (exit 345, old exit 39).  Go straight through first light, and turn left at the second light Market Street).  Follow Market Street to 34th street and turn left.  The parking garage will be on your left.

From the East:
        Take 76 west to 676 west.  Take 676 West to 30th street/Amtrak train station exit.  This road will loop you around 30th street/Amtrak train station.  When you hit Market Street, turn right. Follow Market Street to 34th street and turn left.  The parking garage will be on your left.

From the West:
        Follow 76 east all the way to Philadelphia.  Exit the 30th Street/Amtrak train station exit.    This road will loop you around 30th street/Amtrak train station.  When you hit Market Street, turn right. You are now on the Drexel Campus.  Follow Market Street  to 34th street and turn left.  The parking garage will be on your left.

By Amtrak:
        Drexel is only a 5 minute walk from the 30th Street/Amtrak train station in Philadelphia.  Exit 30th street/Amtrak train station and turn right onto Market Street

.  You will be walking away from center city heading towards Drexel Campus.

Near Philadelphia International Airport:
    An alternative to the downtown hotels are the airport hotels.  It is a short drive from the airport to downtown(15 minutes), and the rates are sometimes a little more reasonable.  These are not the only ones available, but just a couple of suggestions.  Follow the "From the South" directions to reach campus from from the airport.
